LOUISVILLE, KY (Sept. 1, 2020) – Ten of the Sazerac Company’s Corazón and Los Vecinos agave brands were recognized at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge, and two were named finalists for the highest award bestowed by the competition. Corazón de Agave Añejo Tequila and Los Vecinos del Campo Ensamble No. 1 Mezcal were the Chairman’s Trophy Finalists. Additionally, two of the company’s agave spirits were deemed “Tried and True,” one was designated a “Great Value,” and one was included in the competition’s Top 100 Spirits.
Those awarded the distinction of “Extraordinary, Ultimate Recommendation” were:

Awarded “Very Good, Strong Recommendation” was:

“Good, Recommended” distinction was given to:

This competition, in its 10th year, is judged by a panel of the spirit industry’s most renowned judges including award-winning authors, buyers, journalists, educators and bar owners, who rate each spirit on a 100-point scale.
