We cherish the communities in which we live and work and we partner with our communities to help everyone prosper. We apply our core values of teamwork, fairness, caring and results and we encourage strong community spirit everywhere we go.
Over the past two years, we have donated more than $10.4 million to community causes from cancer care to animal welfare. We continually invest in sustainability initiatives which include such examples as a new $35 million wastewater treatment plant and the planting of over 1,000 trees at our Buffalo Trace Distillery.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sazerac stepped up to produce massive amounts of hand sanitizer for healthcare facilities, government agencies and the military. We were able to supply sanitizer to many vital industries including retail, distribution, airline, pharmacy and banking. At the height of the COVID-19 outbreak, we donated nearly 15,000 N95 respirator masks to the healthcare industry and a significant number of cases of hand sanitizer to first responders and other front-line agencies in our communities.

Our Sazerac company origins can be traced back to a French Vineyard nearly 400 years ago. We have returned, full-circle, to the Cognac region of France and have operations in England and Ireland as well.
