CHICAGO, IL (May 27, 2020) – Ten tequilas and mezcals owned by the Sazerac Company and produced in close partnership with Casa San Matías received medals at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Among those honors were three Double Gold medals, which are only awarded when all members of the judging panel award a Gold medal. The SFWSC considers Double Gold medal recipients among the finest products in the world.

Spirits entered into the San Francisco World Spirits Competition are judged over four days of highly controlled blind tastings by a panel of more than 40 judges made up of respected, experienced industry experts.
